Mount San Cristobal is a dormant volcano on the island of LuzonPhilippines. The mountain rises to an elevation of 1,470 m (4,820 ft) above mean sea level [2] and is one of the volcanic features of Macolod Corridor.[3]
Mount San Cristobal is considered the Devil's mountain in Filipino folklore. It is the alter-ego of the Holy Mountain,[2] Mount Banahaw, and is part of Mounts Banahaw–San Cristobal Protected Landscape covering 10,901 hectares (26,940 acres) of land.
The mountain is bounded by San Pablo, province of Laguna at its northern slope and Dolores, province of Quezon at its southern slope.

SUNG WAN RIVER

If you want a really cold fresh water from a very natural spring without paying any fee for entrance, then this river is absolutely free for you. Located in Brgy San Cristobal just in the north area of Bato Springs Resort, this crystal clear running water from the natural spring from the hill is perfect for family bonding or group picnic. The scenery is perfect, from tall trees, grasses, high hills, cold & clear water which is safe to drink, the music coming from the sounds of spring, birds singing and wind blowing combined.

The water from the spring is believed to be coming from inside Mt Banahaw and considered a natural medicine of nature and can heal any sickness by just drinking it. 

The name itself comes from the name of St. John The Baptist or in Tagalog is San Juan which is the river later called Sung wan (San Juan). 

People living near this river is celebrating a separate Barrio fiesta celebration in San Cristobal, instead of July 25, they celebrate it every June 24 which is also the Feast day of San Juan.

SAN CRISTOBAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL


San Cristobal National High School teaches students in grades seventh through tenth in San Pablo City, Laguna of Calabarzon (Region IV-A). The school has 9 instructional rooms and 1 non-instructional rooms, which are all powered by a power grid. With 508 students, class size is around 56 students. Lina M. Laguras is in charge of the school, acting as the school's Principal.

For the 2013-14 school year, San Cristobal had 508 students enrolled. This makes the school a larger school, with 258 more students than the average school and about the average number (495) of students enrolled in San Pablo City.
