Economy of San Cristobal San Pablo City

The sources of income of most of the people residing there is in agriculture. It's natural resources such as river and soil is suitable for agriculture given its richness and fertility. In addition to that is the tropical climate that makes any plant or trees grow faster and well.

Vegetables are seasonal for example you can plant egg plants, okra, pechay, mustard, squash or kalabasa and upo in rainy season usually in the month of May to October. Sitao and beans in the month of October to January and in the dry season, you can plant Gabi, and ginger usually in the month of February to April. Fruit trees harvesting period is also seasonal such as rambutan and lanzones which you can only harvest one time a year usually in the month of August to October.

Image result for coconut plantationHuge coconut plantation can also be spotted in the Barangay which is also the most common trees in there. You can harvest it almost every 45 days.

Other sources income is small businesses such as sari-sari store, mini grocery, computer shop and water refilling station.

Also some of the people is employed in either government or private company.
